Who We Are
We believe in engineering resilience
In a world facing digital disruption, the capacity for genuine connection, confidence, and empathy is the most critical and strategically valuable asset—both for personal satisfaction and organisational security.
We integrate the operational discipline and strategic rigor honed in corporate project management with evidence-based psychological frameworks.

The Founder's Story: From Construction to Connection
My journey into mental wellness and professional development was born from a realization: I spent years managing and delivering multi-million ringgit projects as a project engineer, yet I struggled with my own inner self.
I understand the pain of disconnection intimately. Growing up, I was shy, awkward, and struggled with communication. My pursuit of finding where I truly belonged led me through major career transitions—from engineering to project management and entrepreneurship.
I then joined Toastmasters and pursued a Master's in Psychology Counselling that I finally learned the essential skills: how to connect, be vulnerable, empathic, present, and empowering.
Now, I want to use my accumulated experience and skills to empower others who face similar challenges in their career, communication, and leadership journeys. This commitment led to the founding of Cultivate Consultancy: to transform and empower individuals and communities to be more resilient in both their personal and professional lives.

Transforming Potential through Intentional Connection
We build communication, confidence, and sustainable, empathic leadership based on a deep, operational understanding of human psychology and corporate performance.
We don't just motivate; we provide personalised, custom-designed courses, consultancy and coaching that drive measurable, lasting change.
Corporate Acumen
We apply engineering and project management philosophies to structure custom, results-driven corporate training programs.
Our programs are grounded in evidence-based psychological frameworks, ensuring that taught concepts are not just theoretical, but effective, practical and sustainable.
We aim to implement resilience across personal lives and careers through targeted training in psychology, communication, leadership, and management.
Psychological Foundation
Holistic Resilience
We build resilient people who build resilient organisations.
Our Human Skill Engineering approach ensures our training is not just motivational, but also measurable, systematic, and sustainable.
We incorporate our background into every course and coaching session in two distinct ways:
How We Do It
Systematic Program Design
We structure custom learning journeys optimised for each client based on our expert opinion and the client's specific requests. Our courses also incorporate intelligent logical flows in their design, ensuring concepts build upon each other for maximum retention.
Measurable Outcomes
We avoid vague "soft skills deliverables" and define training results using measurable metrics, and equip our clients with tools to track their behavioral improvements for relevant skills.
Pragmatic and Operational Focus
We ensure that the services offered aren't just theory, but practical, budget-conscious, and immediately implementable within corporate settings or everyday situations.
Evidence-Based Content:
All communication and leadership frameworks are grounded in established theories and principles, ensuring the methods taught address the root cause of identified issues.
Deep Insight Techniques:
We incorporate and demonstrate psychology techniques in our delivery (for example Socratic Dialogue and Active Listening). This helps clients understand why they struggle, and how to overcome psychological barriers.
Resilience & Mental Security:
We address the intersection of resilience and technology, providing clients with the latest knowledge needed to maintain focus and well-being in the face of digital distraction and cognitive offloading.

Yes, we use Google Meet. But we do recommend physical workshops for maximum cultivator engagement!
What is the difference between coaching and training from workshops?
Workshops are educational and skill-based. We train a group of people in a specific set of skills or concepts (e.g., "Effective Communication" or "Public Speaking"). It is structured and based on the needs of a group of individuals, and according to the training objectives requested of us.
Coaching is a partnership. It is usually 1-on-1 (or small groups of no more than 4) and focuses on unlocking a person's potential. We don't just "teach"; we ask powerful questions to help you find your own solutions, overcome mental blocks, and achieve specific personal goals. It is typically a longer-term partnership, usually twice a month over 3-6 months as recommended by us.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes, unless the client authorises information to be given to a third party.
Note for Corporate Clients: If a company is paying for an employee’s coaching, we report on progress and attendance, but we never disclose the specific content of the conversations without the client's permission.
Important Note: Coaching is not therapy. While we deal with mindsets and emotions, we do not treat mental health disorders. If we feel you need therapeutic support, we will refer you to a specialist.
